Macau Tower

The bungee jump (from Level 61 at 233 metres above the ground) was the highest commercial bungee jump in the world when it opened and still holds that record. AJ Hackett operates it. The Figure 8 ferris wheel
The Golden Reel at Studio City (Cotai Strip) is an extraordinary engineering achievement — a figure-eight shaped ferris wheel structure on the exterior of the Studio City hotel tower, operating between two oval loops. Each cabin holds up to six passengers.
The view from the top is good, and the experience of the figure-eight transition between loops is unusual enough to be genuinely interesting. Duration is approximately 15 minutes per ride.

House of Dancing Water — City of Dreams
The largest water-based theatrical production in the world (by volume of water used). A 270-degree amphitheatre surrounds a 3.7 million-litre pool that doubles as a stage, and the show — which runs for roughly 90 minutes — combines acrobatics, cliff divers, motorcycles, and scenic flights with elaborate Chinese-Portuguese-influenced storytelling.

Macau’s most underrated family attraction, and genuinely good for visitors of all ages. The Giant Panda Pavilion in Coloane houses a small number of giant pandas in spacious, climate-controlled enclosures, alongside red pandas, a children’s petting zoo, and the wider Seac Pai Van Park with forest trails and additional animal enclosures.

Macau Science Centre
Located on the waterfront of the Macau Peninsula near the Cultural Centre, the Macau Science Centre is a planetarium and hands-on science museum aimed primarily at school groups and families. It is inexpensive (MOP 25–80 depending on which sections you visit, USD 3–10) and a reasonable rainy-day option with children.
The permanent exhibition covers physics, natural science, and technology with interactive elements. The planetarium shows run on a schedule and require a separate ticket. Not a world-class science museum by international comparison, but functional and reasonably engaging for children aged 5–12.

Not everything worth seeing costs money. Several major attractions are free or have no entrance fee:
